Android Q facial recognition is safer

The face detection on many popular Android smartphones, is easy to work around. That’s according to research by the Consumers ‘ association early this year. Many device can even be made by a simple photo be fooled. Google is now working on a way to use this technology to make it safer.

At this time, Apple continues to lead with technology for facial recognition. Apples Face ID on the latest generation of iPhones used a combination of advanced hardware and software to recognize faces. Google seems Android Q to ensure that hardware for face recognition standard is supported.

This news is discovered through the site XDA Developers, in the leaked code of a early Android Q-version to wander. As soon as a device special hardware for face detection, the user is prompted first a pin as a backup. Then the face is registered, allowing you to not only your phone is unlocked, but also make purchases and log in to apps. That is similar to how the finger print scanner now is used.
