DS Automobiles opens directly to the order books of its first fully electric-powered model, the DS 3 Crossback E-Tense. The prices remain under the 50,000 euros, which all versions are eligible for 4 percent tax on the entire list price.
The DS 3 Crossback E-Tense from now on, to order and appears at the end of this year on the Dutch roads. The electric-powered SUV comes in four different versions available on the market and are always supplied with a 6 year free maintenance. The starting price is 43.190 euro, for the So Chic version.
Each DS 3 Crossback E-Tense is equipped with air conditioning with automatic climate control, cruise control, a lane assistant, a light-, rain – and parking sensor, multimedia system with touch screen, a digital instrument cluster and 17-inch alloy wheels. With the Performance Line is the equipment enhanced with sporty-looking elements and with the upgrade Performance Line+ you get in addition to keyless entry, a navigation system, led headlights and 18-inch alloy wheels. The most luxurious Grand Chic version is equipped with a rear-view camera, a wireless phone charger, leather upholstery and the largest multimediascherm of 10.3 inches.
DS provides one battery version, of 50 kWh. The batteries with a quick charger in 30 minutes for 80% charged, via a 100 kW charging station. They can be charged with a normal charging station (5 hours) or an outlet (16 hours). The driving range is 320 miles, measured according to the newest and ‘realistic’ WLTP-method. The electric motor in the E-Tense is 100 kW (136 hp) strong and let the SUV, if desired, in 8,7 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h acceleration.
